neoTerra is not a Tiny House, but I really like all of the great ideas from the Tiny House movement for maximizing storage and functionality. Here are some of my favorites.
These are really cool lift mechanisms that allow you to easily lift the mattress and use the space under the bed for convenient storage.

Beds that slide out from under an elevated floor. This is a great way to double your usable space if the ceiling is high enough.
Platform beds or elevated beds with storage underneath. Not as useful, in my opinion as the slide out beds, but very practical if you need additional storage more than additional floor space.
Murphy Beds. I'm planning to use a Murphy bed in the downstairs bedroom when we finish the basement.
A shelving unit that rotates on a pivot and has a Murphy bed on the reverse side
Murphy Tables Ideas for tables that fold down from the wall.
A dining table built into a Murphy bed!!
Bookcase beds
Hidden Doors and Bookcase Doors
Rolling Storage Units

Galley Library and Office Ideas Although neoTerra is not a small house, we downsized from the current house in Chicago. We eliminated the study early in the design phase so we widened the main hallway by 18" to provide space for a 22' library wall. Here are some ideas for built-in shelving in a hallway.
Storage racks made from PVC pipe. I can see that I'll have to buy a LOT more wine!
