The Rise of The Urban Progressives
Roughly half of the US population now lives in urban areas that occupy only 3-4% of the land area. In fact, about 1/2 of the population resides in only 146 counties, as illustrated in the following map.
A map of the counties that voted for Joe Biden in 2020 (not shown) is almost identical, highlighting the growing divide between Progressive Urban 'Elites' and the rest of the (deplorable) nation.
It should not be surprising that urban dwellers tend to embrace socialism. They are utterly dependent on the urban infrastructure they occupy and have no concept of self sufficiency. The city provides their water and takes away their sewage and trash. They need an elevator to get to their high-rise apartment and nothing works if the power goes out. Though they rant about Climate Change they really don't give a shit about where the electricity that powers their existence magically comes from.
They rely on society to provide a bit of shared outdoor space (i.e. public parks). They claim to be 'environmentalists' but their entire environment, as far as the eye can see, is nothing more than urban infrastructure.. concrete, asphalt, glass and steel.
They can't grow their own food and have no idea where it really comes from. They depend on a massive police force to protect them from their 'neighbors'.
Their incompetent government is much less frightening then the gang-infested environment they voted for so they just don't grasp the need for the 2nd Amendment.
They are willing socialists.
As the percentage of people living in Progressive Urban enclaves has grown the Progressives seem to be increasingly upset that the United States is a Constitutional Republic, specifically created with checks and balances which prevent them from controlling all our lives by mob rule.
The Undemocratic Senate
In particular, they despise the existence of the US Senate, which gives every state equal representation, regardless of population (i.e. two Senators per state). A quote:
“We should keep in mind that the original one-state, two-senators rule was written and ratified by property-owning white men, almost half of whom owned slaves…”

Demographics
In 2016, half of the US population lived in just 9 states (coincidentally, states with large urban populations). This means that half the population only gets 18 Senators, while the other half gets 82.
Of course our Constitution was designed this way from the very beginning to protect rural populations and the autonomy of the individual states but it REALLY makes Progressives angry now that they have a plurality (or perhaps a slight majority).
- Sidebar - Claims by Democrats that this is some new situation are total bullshit. In 1770 the population of the original 13 States (colonies at that time) was about 2,090,619 and just four states had roughly 53% of the population (Virginia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Maryland). www.yttwebzine.com/yesterday/2013/10/28/75757/population_13_colonies_chart
Why Is This Important??
You might be wondering why I'm writing about this... why is it important? Well, I'm glad you asked.
There are two demographic forces at work that we need to take advantage of.
- Urban population is increasing and only 8 states will posses 1/2 the population within 15-20 years. In other words, 1/2 of the population will have only 16 guaranteed Senators.
- Conservatives are abandoning Progressive Urban areas, often moving to more conservative states where their votes actually count.
These forces may allow Conservatives, Constitutionalists and Libertarians to gain and maintain control over the Senate.
- There is no guarantee... Progressive Urban Socialists (PUS) and the Globalist Billionaires have deep pockets and control the media. They will do everything in their power to buy Senate seats as they did in Georgia in 2020.
Please understand, control of the Senate does not in any way mean that we can (or should) impose our values over the Progressives... they can continue to do whatever the hell they want in their states. It merely means that we can decide what's important to us in our states (as our Constitution was brilliantly designed).
As long as 'traditionalists' control the Senate, the Great Reset and the New World Order will be frustrated in the United States (though the Globalists do have great power through the Central Banks and through self-inflicted Biden-inflation... a topic for another post).
This year we have the opportunity to take back the House and change the narrative. Recall that the House is (and was designed to be) the "Democratic" chamber that represents the populist majority. If we take the House then we take the "democratic" high ground.
Then the Progressives will be screaming and crying that they need the Senate, the filibuster and the Courts to protect them from the ignorant, deplorable majority... their two-faced hypocrisy will be completely exposed.
