RFK Junior Commits Seppuku

Introduction
I had hopes when Robert F. Kennedy Junior (RFK-Jr) threw his hat in the ring against Biden for a 2024 Presidential run that it might bring a breath of moderation to the Democrat Party.

That was very unlikely, however, because Democrats already hated him for his anti-vax stance and for stating that anti-depressants might be to blame for some school shootings. According to the Democrat faithful these positions are dangerous conspiracy theories and blatant misinformation. (NPR really, really hates this guy).

It was more likely that he could hurt Trump because he's been getting some traction with moderate Republicans. Well... that is now over.

Environmentalism
RFK-Jr has a long career as an environmental lawyer. I'm an environmentalist myself so I had to dig into his background a bit.   I'm sad to say the guy is an idiot.

Obviously he wants to transition away from fossil fuels to "green" energy. OK, I get that.   However, he is also opposed to nuclear and has fought against hydro projects in Quebec, Chile and Belize.

It is unclear where he imagines energy will come from as we transition away from fossil fuels.

The Plastic Crisis
Last Friday, RFK-Jr laid out his plan for dealing with Plastic Pollution. This is a genuine environmental issue that needs to be addressed. I used to SCUBA dive once or twice a year in the Caribbean and the $hit is everywhere.   So, I wanted to know what RFK had to say.

SEPPUKU
To make a long story short, RFK committed political suicide on Friday when he announced his plan to solve the Plastic Pollution Crisis "I will ban fracking, which provides the feedstock for most of the plastics produced in the U.S."

There are many problems with RFK's irrational 'solution'.

First, the Plastic Pollution problem isn't with plastic itself. Plastics are used in virtually everything... and most of these items are 'durable'. Appliances, cars, furniture, clothing, plumbing, electrical insulation and so forth. Durable items are not the primary problem. The majority of the pollution comes from single-use disposable crap or from cheap throw-away products.

Second and most important, it is genuinely stupid to take a sledgehammer to our economy to fight Plastic Pollution. As illustrated by Visual Capitalist, about 85% of a barrel of oil is used for energy and only 10% is used to produce plastics (and more than half of those plastics are 'good').

Third, China produces twice as much plastic as the United States. If we stop producing plastics, China, India and others will gladly increase their production (and they are also the worst polluters on the planet).

Conclusion
RFK-Jr has a plan. Unfortunately, his plan to fix one problem will create far, FAR bigger problems.

Like President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho, I have a three-part plan... AND... I give you my word... my plan is better.

I've got a guy named 'Not Sure' and he's gonna figure out how to make flimsy, bio-degradable plastic out of corn.
We're gonna stop paying farmers to grow corn for ethanol and start paying them to grow corn for plastics. (BTW, ethanol is a really crappy fuel).
We're gonna pass legislation to make all single-use plastic crap from high-fructose corn plastic. YAY! (And he's gonna fix the dust storms too!)

RFK's plan (to destroy the American economy) might make Democrats hate him a teeny bit less... but I can't imagine that ANY Republican will support him now.

Well, now that we have plenty of TP there is a shortage of ... laxatives. Yes; the United States has become the Constipation Nation.

Apparently, "[COVID] changed many people's dietary habits for the worse, leading to an increase in eating unhealthy snacks..."

So... if you have COVID-Anxiety (the woke opposite of COVID-Apathy) then there is a good chance that you are full of $hit. (gosh, I love my own jokes).

Boogeymen Of Doom - COVID Apathy

I was tempted to post this as an episode of Clown World, but the sheeple are very serious.

Just two days ago I wrote about COVID's triumphant return to the Pantheon-of-Pestilnce but I also noted that the general consensus of (sane) Americans is "we will not comply".

COVID Apathy
It has only taken CNN two days to identify this terrible, anti-social attitude. This lack of fear and anxiety is a sign of ... COVID APATHY.... Deplorable COVID Apathy.

How Democrats Can Cope with COVID Apathy
Of course smart people (i.e. CNN readers) feel this sense of apathy but know that they MUST fight back! Here are a few amazing quotes from CNN:

"Covid-19 is here to stay. To prove it, the virus is surging in many places" Surging... SURGING!! Like the seasonal flu... it's SURGING.
"the Covid surge could trigger a re-awakening of actual trauma, much like post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD" "If you feel triggered... it’s time to check in with a therapist." Yikes!! COVID-PTSD. Escape from apathy... escape from life... embrace the fear... and see a shrink!
"Ready to take on Covid again? One of the best actions to take is to get the new Covid-19 booster vaccination when it is available later in September," AND, by all means get that new booster jab. It won't work any better than the first eight... but you can tell your shrink (and all your friends) how empowered it makes you feel.

How Conservatives Can Cope

Conclusion
COVID-19 is here to stay... FOREVER AND EVER.

If you're a Democrat... succumb to fear, see a shrink and get another jab.

Boogeymen Of Doom - Pestilence Rising

Intro
To keep my perspective (and sense of humor) I have identified the boogeymen-of-doom and given them goofy names. The boogeymen are, indeed, real (or potentially real) but they have been enormously exaggerated to induce mass hysteria. Funny names help put them in their place.

Scary Scarcity (poverty, famine)
Climate Calamity (the oceans are going to boil in 30 years)
Persistent Pestilence (aka Scamdemics... you will die if the gov doesn't force your neighbors to get jabbed)
Fearsome Fallout (World War III)
And the newest member... Divisive Diversity.

Persistent Pestilence
There is nothing like a good plague to frighten people into mindless obedience. Unfortunately, for the Progressive Urban Socialists (aka Democrats), Pestilence hasn't been getting much love lately. The Monkeypox epidemic had to be cancelled when children and pets started to contract this gruesome STD.

The Fungal Apocalypse
BUT, as I wrote back in June, Candida Auris (a drug resistant fungus) has arrived on stage to spread fear and anxiety. neoterra.us/blog/a-new-tridemic

The CDC admits that it doesn't have good data on the prevalence of fungal infections but "the feeling is definitely that there is an increase.” I love when a so-called scientist bases panic on a feeling (rather than actual data).

The article goes on to say "When experts try to imagine what could exert such widespread influence (you know... like a definite feeling) they land on the possibility that the problem is climate change"

Yep, when ya have a definite feeling then it MUST be due to Climate Change.

COVID Is Back
A few weeks ago the World Health Organization (WHO) and the CDC sounded the alarm for the new EG.5 COVID variant which is code-named 'Eris'. Of course Democrats are already starting to panic and there is talk of reinstating mask mandates. But the rest of the country is shaking their heads and saying "we will not comply".

To boost the demand for boosters, Dr. Jill and Whoopi have both come down with COVID (again) in spite of being jabbed more times than a voodoo doll.

OMG, watch the reaction of the Progressive sheeple on The View!

It's coming back and its because deplorable people aren't getting the latest jab. "Clap if you want the new booster"

Just to be safe, I think I will be taking some COVID shots this Fall...

A Tale of Two Cultures

Happy Labor Day, y'all. Since I'm just chillin' while the (evil red-meat) rib-eyes defrost I would like to talk about the mental illness infecting our nation. I refer to this insanity as Socialist Psychosis. Cool term... right?

There are a number of Eastern European nations that lived under the boot of Socialism until the 1990's and they appear to be immune to Socialist Psychosis (at least for this generation).

Poland, because of its strong ties to pre-psychotic America, is a powerful example.... and the example I shall use today.

Poland
I admit that I might be slightly biased... I grew up in Chicago (the true, cold war, capital of Poland) and I believe that women of Polish descent are amazing.

As an aside, a portion of the Jason Loner Chronicles (my humble dystopian sci-fi novella) takes place in Jefferson Park, which is renamed the Zona Polska in a dystopian American future.

With that said, let us look at a picture of the current contestants for Miss Poland.

I am shocked and appalled to inform you that they are all fit, healthy cis-gender females. SHOCKED and APPALLED.

There is not one trans-women in the bunch! To make matters worse, there is not a single healthy-weight person represented. Shockingly, and appallingly, there's not a single trans-species furry cat-self.

The lack of diversity is horribly triggering!!... I may have to retreat to my safe-space.

The United States
Clearly, the United States is far superior. We have learned to place personal identification above objective reality or a Billion years of biology.

In America, we have learned that any expression of female beauty is misogynistic and degrading.... Fitness, femininity and having a uterus are obsolete, oppressive concepts. Having energy and enthusiasm is a cruel expression of 'ableism'.

Here in America we are so enlightened we no longer celebrate woman... we say "Let's Change Beauty"

Conclusion
It seems there is a reservoir of traditional sanity in Eastern Europe and I hope that can be exported to the United States.

I wonder if I can move to Poland!?? Maybe I can lobby the UN for a new international class of victims... I could be the very first hetero-cis-gender refugee to be granted asylum in Poland. Stranger things have happened.

The Boogeymen Of Doom - Climate Craziness

I hope you all enjoyed the Unrivaled series and feel a little more optimistic about our nation's future.

With that said... it is back to battling with the Boogeymen-Of-Doom! Of course, one of my favorite topics is the Climate Change Hoax being used to terrify people throughout Western Culture.

I am very happy to report that this 70 year hoax is finally under assault.

Disclaimer
First, let me state my position (again) for the record.

The climate is changing, just as it has been for Billions of years
The climate is getting warmer just as it has been since the depths of the Little Ice Age in the 1700's. The official end of the Little Ice Age is pegged at 1853, which was the last time the Thames River froze in the winter.
CO2 is, indeed, a greenhouse gas but the energy from the Sun is a far more powerful factor in our Climate. The Earth went through numerous, devastating Ice Ages and intermittent hot periods long before humans or fossil fuels.
The 'record' heat and drought of the past couple years is a fraud. The 1930's were worse and the Dust Bowl was an genuine environmental disaster.
Even the Dust Bowl was not an existential threat. We recovered in less than a decade.

In summary, Climate Change is and will be an economic inconvenience but it is NOT an existential threat to humanity.

Fake Science... at the Taxpayers Expense
Climatology is NOT a science. Science is a process in which people formulate theories to explain observed reality, and then conduct experiments to confirm or discard the theory. A theory can only be substantiated by experimental agreement with reality and cannot based on biased computer simulations.

It is not possible to conduct controlled experiments on the Earth's climate. Therefore, climatology is NOT a science and the so-called 'Climate Scientists' are merely biased Climate Activists.

To prove my point let us consider Kimberly Rain Miner, a Climate 'Scientist' with NASA who is paid to promote climate hysteria. In a recent 'scientific' article she describes how she and her colleagues suffer from "severe, emergent health challenges" as a result of CLIMATE GRIEF. I doubt that Sir Isaac Newton ever suffered from Gravity Grief.

You can read the article for yourself. In my opinion, we need to put an end to this. We should not be wasting tax dollars to allow John Kerry and Al Gore the jet-set around the globe... we should not pay government employees to terrify school children.

Kimberley is attractive (with professional makeup, hair, wardrobe and a photo shoot)... so I shall classify her as a Climate Celebrity rather than a mere Climate Activist. There is a LOT of money to be made promoting the evils of prosperity and the transfer of wealth from the middle-class to the Billionaire elite.

I don't presume to judge or disparage Kimberley... But I must ask you... do real scientists have glam photo shoots to promote their 'science' ?

The Truth Is Gaining Traction

In spite of the massive private and tax $$$$ being spent to promote Climate Hysteria, it seems that sanity (and truth) is starting to fight back.

The Climate Hysterians like to claim that 97% of scientists agree that Climate Change is an existential threat. This is bullshit.

Last week a group of 1609 actual scientists (including two Nobel laureates) signed a declaration "There is no climate emergency". This is a game changer in our fight against the Boogeymen-of-Doom. The Democrats and their media cohorts will surely ignore this or discount it as misinformation.... but it will be difficult for them to continue the deception that there is consensus among 'scientists'.

The Climate Change boogeyman is under serious attack and the Democrats are scrambling for damage control.

During the first GOP Debate, Vivek Ramaswamy called climate change a "hoax". His stand on the issue is interesting (and, perhaps, exaggerated) but the reaction of Progressive Socialist media is fascinating.

Time magazine (which was once objective) claims "The signals of climate change have become increasingly present—think of the record-setting extreme heat and near-constant flooding, and leading Republicans can no longer feasibly deny that climate change is happening."

But, please keep in mind, one year ago Time was ranting about extreme drought rather than near-constant flooding. They are dishonest hypocrites.

Slate is even more terrified. They wrote this bit of Democrat propaganda just five days before those 1609 scientists stated there is no global agreement: "Fox News itself has been no slouch in the decades-spanning right-wing mission to downplay the effects of climate change, disputing the near-universal global agreement that human overdependence on fossil fuels is to blame"

Sorry Slate... just more utterly dishonest left-wing bullshit. The only near-universal agreement has been among the activists being funded to spread Climate Change Hysteria.

I could give you 20 more examples, but it is all the same hysterical defense of the Socialist Climate-Change boogeyman. It is all a fraud and there are $Billions to be made supporting the fraud.

I'm happy to see Vivek fighting for the truth. The hysterical and frantic reactions from the left are epic.
