Mortal Combat - Waffle House Edition

My friends, I am sad to say that civility no longer exists in America. There is a viral video making the rounds of a brawl at a Waffle House. The story is a bit murky since some accounts claim it took place in Georgia while most state it took place in Austin, Texas. I also found a YT from Waffle House Wendy who definitely seems to be the woman in question. Though the video has just gone viral, she states it occurred in September of 2021 and she was fired for the incident.

Some folx on Twitter are now claiming that the woke US Military would be no match for a battalion of Waffle House Workers.

In any case, this is the new Wonder Woman... or should we call her Waffle Woman. I believe I have found the perfect woman for the world of 2023!

The Rational Prepper - I Screwed-Up Edition

Though I do try to plan/prepare for the most probable disruptions, we all get complacent from time to time. I spend a lot of time thinking about things like inflation, recession and maintaining health. Today, on Christmas Day, .. I must admit that I didn't properly prepare for the Big Chill.

Yesterday, on Christmas Eve morning I awoke to discover that we had no water. Overnight, the temperature dropped to a record -5 degrees and the well-head froze. The well is insulated but the pink fiberglass had deteriorated over the years and I was too complacent to check it or take proper precautions against freezing. Shame On Me.

Ironically, we are so 'green' at neoTerra that we don't have any incandescent light bulbs (that get hot). It was a bit of a scavenger hunt to find something to defrost the well. Ms. Terra suggested the iron... you know for ironing clothes (I'm surprised the Democrats haven't banned them yet).

200 feet of extension cord, an iron, an old beat-up blanket and several hours later the pipes were defrosted. Then, the BAD news... the pipe had fractured and water was gushing out. NO WATER.

I called our 'well guy'. I was honestly surprised that he called me back in less than 10 minutes... on Christmas Eve and I could hear his family talking and preparing dinner in the background. (that is one of the great benefits of living in rural, traditional America).

The bad news is that he had 80 calls ahead of me and we won't get our well repaired for at least 5 days. The good news is that there are at least 80 other people as dumb as me :-).

Fortunately, we have awesome friends and neighbors so I was able to get 20 gallons of water for flushing toilets and washing dishes... which allows us to reserve our 10 gallons of distilled water for drinking/cooking.

Ironically, it's not as bad as it sounds. It's like camping in the desert. No laundry, no showers and restricted flushing... but it is definitely not as bad as what people in the UK or Germany are going through. The sun has warmed the Great Room to 77 degrees... we have LOTS of firewood (firewood is now illegal in Blue San Francisco), and we have rib-eye steaks ready to go into the broiler.

This makes me realize that our 'disaster' is merely an inconvenience.... an inconvenience that could have been avoided. An inconvenience we will easily get through and learn from.

Well, my friends, it's time start those rib-eyes and make the most of our Christmas 'camping' experience!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Big Chill

Hello and Merry Christmas 'Adam'. LOL... tomorrow is Christmas Eve and Adam comes before Eve (in the Bible).

The Big Chill
The BIG CHILL of 2022 arrived in North Georgia at around 4:00 AM this morning. I woke up at 2:00 and we were still in the mid 30's. With temps dropping but the ground still warm, the fog settled in. The blue LED lights looked really amazing in the fog/mist.

It wasn't worth starting the wood stove so I went back to sleep until 4:00.

At 4:00 the temps were down to 18 degrees so I dragged my lazy self out of bed and started burning carbon.

We hit our low for the day of 1 degree F around 9:30 this morning and we are now at a balmy 5 degrees. So, we did not break the record of .1 degree set back in 2014.

As a Rational Prepper I'm happy to report, with the combination of the woodstove and passive solar energy, the heat in the west half of the house shut off around 1:30 this afternoon. In spite of near-record cold (and a lot of wind) it is now 4:00 PM and the heat is still off. It is 77 in the Great Room and 75 in the basement... we're wearing T-shirts.

AOC - To The End

You may recall that I performed a neoTerran voodoo ritual on AOC many months ago in an attempt to make her stop talking about Climate Change.

I purchased a lifelike AOC inaction figure, anointed her with sacred sauce and cast her into the farting cow section of the freezer. I theorized that she would stop blathering about global warming if her doll was freezing its plastic ass off.

In related news (and further proof of the power of voodoo) AOC's new Climate Hysteria film opened in 120 theaters across America on December 9th. In spite of being promoted by Rotten Tomatoes and Ebert the film only grossed a total of $9,667 in its first weekend. That's about $81 per theater. So, like 10 people showed up.

I really hope this takes us all To The End... to the end of her climate nonsense.

Yikes!! the New York Times has just announced that Democrats John Fetterman (AKA Uncle Fester) and Ayanna Pressley are among the 93 most stylish people on Planet Terra.

Ms. Pressley is most known as the champion of H.R. 2116 - Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair (CROWN) Act. I do understand that this issue was far more pressing than inflation, recession, spiraling crime or the impending food shortages. Millions may die of starvation but they shall die with dignified natural hair. YAY!

Nuclear Fashion
In other, style related news, Sam Brinton has been relieved of his position as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition with the Office of Nuclear Energy.

I am very disappointed that the New York Times didn't include Sam in their list of most stylish people. I suspect they are discriminating against atomic energy. Very Unfair!

Urban Camouflage
While we're still on the topic of style, I think almost everyone understands the importance of camouflage in times of conflict. The comical shitposters of the Boogaloo memes used Hawaiian shirts... which weren't good camo unless you were at a Big Luau.

There are many effective camo patterns for wilderness settings. The problem is how to disappear in an urban setting. I'm here to say that Dr. Jill (I believe she has a doctorate in urban concealment) has solved the problem with her imaginative upholstery camo style.

She is a true urban ninja who can vanish in plain sight!

Random Thoughts - Artemis Returns

Today, December 17th, is the 118th anniversary of the first human flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The day when the Wright brothers proved all the skeptics wrong. The first flight was only 120 feet, less than the wingspan of a modern jet... but on their third attempt Wilbur reached a distance of 852 feet.

Last Sunday, on December 11th, 2022, the Orion space capsule of the Artemis 1 mission, splashed down in the Pacific after traveling 1.3 million miles to the Moon and back.

I hope this accomplishment will help inspire a new generation of young Americans to understand that the universe is vast and abundant. We are not limited by Climate Hysteria or Scarcity or the recently invented Tridemic... our only limits are imagination and determination.

Please hold on to that thought as we celebrate and give thanks this Holiday Season.

What could possibly be more frightening than a pandemic??? Well, a TRIDEMIC. YIKES!

I wrote about this a couple of months ago when Monkeypox and Polio were making news. Unfortunately (for the Progressives) those nasty diseases didn't fit the narrative.

Initially, Monkeypox seemed to affect only gay men so it was a celebrity illness. But then it started showing up in children and pets and it suddenly disappeared from the news.

Polio was next in line... but then the source was traced to 'climate refugees' (aka illegal invaders) and, just like that, it disappeared too.

How are the Progressives supposed to scare us all into fearful submission with nothing but the latest version of COVID? So boring!!

Behold - The Tridemic

Future Food - Eat Ze Bugs

I've been writing about about the globalist agenda to destroy agriculture for about two years now. Recent news suggests that the World Economic Forum (WEF) is winning its assault on freedom.

The WEF (and their Democrat Party henchmen) talk about insect farming as a way to save the Earth from the Climate Crisis hoax. In reality it is an effort to obliterate traditional family farms and take control of the global food supply.

You may feel that I am exaggerating... or that I'm a victim of a crazy conspiracy theory.... but I only write about FACTS. The following short video is directly from the WEF... it is not fiction.

Goal #1, the end of private property along with Goal #4, "You will eat much less meat. For the good of the environment" is not a conspiracy theory.... they state it out loud.

The End of Private Farms
You may ask "Hey Mr. Terra why are you opposed to insect farming?".

Well, actually, I'm not opposed. People in other countries already eat bugs (along with dogs, cats, monkeys and bats). I am opposed to the seizure of private property and destruction of independent family farms for the benefit of billionaire corporations.

AND it is happening RIGHT NOW.

The Netherlands, which is the second largest food exporter in the world, has announced plans to forcibly seize and close 3,000 family farms.... to save the Climate. And that is just the first wave... the government estimates that 11,000 farms will have to be shut down.

Coming To America
You might be thinking "Crazy Europeans... that can't happen here". Well, you are WRONG.

Ynsect, a French leader in insect farming has announced plans to build two new Maggot Ranches in the United States and one in Mexico starting next year.

Although several European countries have already legalized bug-burger, the FDA here at home still classifies bugs as contaminants. With money pouring in to lobbyists, I predict that Joe will issue an Executive Order to the FDA to magically transform maggots from contaminants to connoisseur delights.

This is how the globalists will control food. Genetically modified plants, feeding genetically modified bugs, with artificial chemical nutrients under artificial light supplied by electricity from coal-fired power plants. Please convince me this is somehow related to saving the 'Climate'.

I love Karma because Karma loves me. LOL Other people, particularly hypocrites, have more to worry about.

The massive layoffs at Twitter and Facebook have been amusing but the Grim Reaper is now bringing Karma to mainstream media. There are layoffs rippling through CNN, WaPo, New York Times and even NPR.

Recall the glee and arrogance from the Progressives when coal miners and pipeline workers in 'flyover' states had their lives destroyed by Obama/Biden. Well, Karma may take her own sweet time... but what goes around eventually comes around.

This is so idiotic it almost belongs in Clown World.   However, with the new Tridemic here to haunt us, it deserves its own post.

Researchers have published a report in the American Journal of Medicine that shows irresponsible unvaccinated people are 72% more likely to get into a severe car crash than the obedient folx who got multiple jabs.   They speculate that those who resist 'scientific' public health mandates might suffer from "Distrust of the government, a belief in freedom, misconceptions of daily risks, faith in natural protection, or antipathy toward regulation,”

Oddly, they didn't even consider the possibility that the jabbers cowered in their basements for a year while the 'irresponsible' people drove to their jobs every day. I know... I know.. I'm not an esteemed Democrat scientist so I have no right to express my misinformation   But it occurs to me that you can't get into a severe car crash if you never leave your home. (please recall that billionaire Oprah Winfrey self-quarantined in her mansion for 322 days for fear of catching COVID).

Since they are benevolent elitist Democrat Socialists, they suggest that insurance companies might base changes to insurance policies on your vaccination data. You know... they should cancel your car insurance if you don't keep up with your jabs.

Anyways, if you find yourself strangely fascinated by Mad Max movies, you can now blame your mental derangement on the jab.   These are EXACTLY the kind of reckless drivers who would ignore Fauci's demands.
