It Begins - The War on Carbon

The War on Carbon is also a war on food. The Netherlands has been particularly egregious in attacking farmers but the new championship title (at least for now) goes to Denmark.

A few months ago, Denmark passed the world's first carbon tax on farting cows. The tax is based on tons of carbon dioxide 'equivalent'.

Disclaimer: I try to be accurate and scientific in my posts, however cow farts are actually methane. I don't know the CO2 equivalent and I have no desire to study how many times a cow farts per year. So I can't calculate the tax per cow ... but I've seen some sources estimate that it will be about $100/year.

I love how NPR portrays this as a mighty step forward in the battle against global warming. (Can we arrest the staff of NPR for spreading dangerous misinformation??)

Ironically, the new tax will take effect in 2030, which is the exact year the Democratic Socialist World Order will link a personal Carbon Allowance (Carb$) to the global Central Bank Digital Currency (Coin$).

Every purchase will be tracked and purchases of individual items will be immediately denied if you don't have sufficient Carb$ in your account.

It's NOT about saving planet Terra. It is all about power and control.

Friends, for the last 2+ years I've been saying "DON'T PANIC".

I know that things seem dire. Escalating crime, violent protests and looting in our cities, crippling inflation. There are days when it seems we are on the eve of destruction.

A Bit of History
The World was on its knees following WWI and the Spanish Flu Epidemic of 1918. The stock market crash in '29 was just a fitting end to a decade of post-war indulgence.

There are few still alive who can remember the Great Depression and the horrific environmental disaster of the Dust Bowl ... the worst heat wave and drought in American history. And a second World War just 20 years after the "War To End All Wars".

The Democrats don't want you to know or remember that this has all happened before.

By now, y'all know that I love to mock the relentless Doom Propaganda from the Left by giving the boogeymen comical names (always with alliteration). It's summer so Climate Calamity is up to bat. Of course, Persistent Pestilence (COVID-xyz and H5N1 Bird Flu) is still on stage along with Fearsome Fallout (WW3 over Ukraine).

It's an election year so we should expect the Democratic Socialist's propaganda machine to be cranked up to ELEVEN.

Yesterday, the Washington Post (which can't be accused of actually practicing journalism) published an article that claims "fossil fuel burning has cooled the planet while warming it ..."

Yes my friends, Evil Fossil Fuels are simultaneously cooling and warming Mother Terra "presenting problems for the future." Of course, the problems are always in the distant future. You can't make this shit up!!

Apparently, the folks who read WaPo are too ignorant to realize that the threat of Global Cooling (because of Evil Fossil Fuel) is just recycled bullshit from 51 years ago. It was predicted by the experts and it never happened. I must applaud WaPo's audacity, I would be too embarrassed to recycle any theory that was so utterly and provably wrong.

Sidebar - You may be tired of hearing this but there is no such thing as Climate Science. Science is a rigorous process where theories are formulated to explain reality and then experiments are done to confirm or disprove the theories. Reality is the ultimate arbiter of truth.
No global experiments can ever be done on planet Terra to test the theories so all we have is Climate Speculation ... NOT Climate Science.
Thus, there is no such thing as a Climate Scientist. There are Climate Celebrities and there are Climate Grifters ... but not a single actual scientist.

Those who are so willfully ignorant that they ignore history are doomed to be deceived by the same lies over and over. In the meantime the Democrats with their Green New Deal, their hyper expensive and unreliable transition to "green" energy and their war on American prosperity are crushing the lives of working people.

As I said, it's an election year so we will spend the next several months up to our eyeballs in bullshit.

Please imagine a carnival carousel with the various Boogeymen of Doom going round-and-round in the news and in media "Opinion Pieces" from "concerned experts." Somehow, when you lose interest in Climate Calamity then Fearsome Fallout magically appears at center stage ... an intentional and relentless cycle of fear and anxiety.

There is a simple solution ... DON'T PANIC!

DAMN! ... I just did a post on the arrival of summer and here's Dem Governor Kathy Hochul spewing lies and fear ... about Summer.

I will summarize so y'all don't have to listen to six minutes of Climate Hysterian BULLSHIT.

First off, she states that extreme heat is the leading cause of weather related deaths. This is absolutely FALSE. Even experts that embrace the Global Warming BS accept the established actuarial fact that many more people die from cold (hypothermia) than from heat every year.

She states that it's not a natural event for New York and that temperatures will be at levels "never seen in our lifetimes". This is pure BULLSHIT. The predicted temps will be in the upper 80's and low 90's ... Yep, that's pretty hot ... but it's not unprecedented. In fact, temps in New York go over 100 once every five years. The longest stretch of heat waves in New York occurred between 1948-1957 when the city was MUCH smaller.

Good grief, she is activating the National Guard because some areas don't have air conditioning ... while she simultaneously has a war on energy that drives the cost of AC ever higher.

She has issued an Air Quality Alert because (in her own words) the Canadian wild fires last year resulted in the worst air quality. LAST YEAR.

Anyways, my friends, heat can be deadly and Gov Hochul is right to remind people to stay hydrated and keep an eye on family, friends and neighbors.

Tomorrow, June 20th, is the longest day of the year (here in the Northern Hemisphere) and the astronomical start of Summer. YAY!!

Of course it would be silly to believe that warm weather is simply normal for Summer ... NO! It's because of Climate Change ... and Climate Change is because of Evil Fossil Fuel and Farting Cows ... and Evil Fossil Fuel is because of Greedy Capitalism. (Ooops, China is building a new coal-fired power plant every week.)

To demonstrate that the annual return of Summer weather is the fault of Evil Fossil Fuel, the good folks from Just Stop Oil decided to vandalize Stonehenge this morning. Clown World at its very finest!

The irony is truly comical. Stonehenge has been used to mark and celebrate the seasons for thousands of years ... long before the use of Evil Fossil Fuel.

In related news, the UK is being blasted by a 26 C "heatwave"... let me translate ... that's 78 degrees American.

Election Year Boogeyman
It's a Presidential election year and things look good for Conservatives. THEREFORE, we need a new, very scary pandemic.

As y'all know from my many posts on the Boogeymen of Doom, the Elites need a steady stream of fear and distraction to keep the sheep in line.

Climate Calamity and Fearsome Fallout (War) just can't cut it in an election year. People will not agree to being locked in their home for some vague or distant threat. Nope, the Dems need a clear and present danger to make the sheep demand hygienically safe mail-in-ballots.

Enter our recurring champion, Persistent Pestilence (aka Pandemic). While COVID is always in the competition, this year's nominee is H5N1 Bird Flu.

H5N1 has been around for decades. In April of this year there was a human infection in the US which is now designated as A/Texas/37/2024 (cuz it occurred in Texas).

A scientific study by our esteemed CDC determined that the strain is 100% Fatal ... among ferrets.

I was tempted to post this as an episode of Clown World, but the sheeple are very serious.

Just two days ago I wrote about COVID's triumphant return to the Pantheon-of-Pestilnce but I also noted that the general consensus of (sane) Americans is "we will not comply".

It has only taken CNN two days to identify this terrible, anti-social attitude. This lack of fear and anxiety is a sign of ... COVID APATHY.... Deplorable COVID Apathy.

How Democrats Can Cope with COVID Apathy
Of course smart people (i.e. CNN readers) feel this sense of apathy but know that they MUST fight back! Here are a few amazing quotes from CNN:

Boogeymen Of Doom - Pestilence Rising

Intro
To keep my perspective (and sense of humor) I have identified the boogeymen-of-doom and given them goofy names. The boogeymen are, indeed, real (or potentially real) but they have been enormously exaggerated to induce mass hysteria. Funny names help put them in their place.

Scary Scarcity (poverty, famine)
Climate Calamity (the oceans are going to boil in 30 years)
Persistent Pestilence (aka Scamdemics... you will die if the gov doesn't force your neighbors to get jabbed)
Fearsome Fallout (World War III)
And the newest member... Divisive Diversity.

Persistent Pestilence
There is nothing like a good plague to frighten people into mindless obedience. Unfortunately, for the Progressive Urban Socialists (aka Democrats), Pestilence hasn't been getting much love lately. The Monkeypox epidemic had to be cancelled when children and pets started to contract this gruesome STD.

The Fungal Apocalypse

The CDC admits that it doesn't have good data on the prevalence of fungal infections but "the feeling is definitely that there is an increase.” I love when a so-called scientist bases panic on a feeling (rather than actual data).

The article goes on to say "When experts try to imagine what could exert such widespread influence (you know... like a definite feeling) they land on the possibility that the problem is climate change"

Yep, when ya have a definite feeling then it MUST be due to Climate Change.

COVID Is Back
A few weeks ago the World Health Organization (WHO) and the CDC sounded the alarm for the new EG.5 COVID variant which is code-named 'Eris'. The Boogeymen Of Doom - Climate Craziness

I hope you all enjoyed the Unrivaled series and feel a little more optimistic about our nation's future.

With that said... it is back to battling with the Boogeymen-Of-Doom! Of course, one of my favorite topics is the Climate Change Hoax being used to terrify people throughout Western Culture.

I am very happy to report that this 70 year hoax is finally under assault.

Disclaimer
First, let me state my position (again) for the record.

The climate is changing, just as it has been for Billions of years
The climate is getting warmer just as it has been since the depths of the Little Ice Age in the 1700's. The official end of the Little Ice Age is pegged at 1853, which was the last time the Thames River froze in the winter.
CO2 is, indeed, a greenhouse gas but the energy from the Sun is a far more powerful factor in our Climate. The Earth went through numerous, devastating Ice Ages and intermittent hot periods long before humans or fossil fuels.
The 'record' heat and drought of the past couple years is a fraud. The 1930's were worse and the Dust Bowl was an genuine environmental disaster.
Even the Dust Bowl was not an existential threat. We recovered in less than a decade.

In summary, Climate Change is and will be an economic inconvenience but it is NOT an existential threat to humanity.

Fake Science... at the Taxpayers Expense
Climatology is NOT a science. Science is a process in which people formulate theories to explain observed reality, and then conduct experiments to confirm or discard the theory. A theory can only be substantiated by experimental agreement with reality and cannot based on biased computer simulations.

It is not possible to conduct controlled experiments on the Earth's climate. Therefore, climatology is NOT a science and the so-called 'Climate Scientists' are merely biased Climate Activists.

To prove my point let us consider Kimberly Rain Miner, a Climate 'Scientist' with NASA who is paid to promote climate hysteria. In a recent 'scientific' article she describes how she and her colleagues suffer from "severe, emergent health challenges" as a result of CLIMATE GRIEF. I doubt that Sir Isaac Newton ever suffered from Gravity Grief.

You can read the article for yourself. In my opinion, we need to put an end to this. We should not be wasting tax dollars to allow John Kerry and Al Gore the jet-set around the globe... we should not pay government employees to terrify school children.

Kimberley is attractive (with professional makeup, hair, wardrobe and a photo shoot)... so I shall classify her as a Climate Celebrity rather than a mere Climate Activist. There is a LOT of money to be made promoting the evils of prosperity and the transfer of wealth from the middle-class to the Billionaire elite.

I don't presume to judge or disparage Kimberley... But I must ask you... do real scientists have glam photo shoots to promote their 'science' ?

The Truth Is Gaining Traction

In spite of the massive private and tax $$$$ being spent to promote Climate Hysteria, it seems that sanity (and truth) is starting to fight back.

The Climate Hysterians like to claim that 97% of scientists agree that Climate Change is an existential threat. This is bullshit.

Last week a group of 1609 actual scientists (including two Nobel laureates) signed a declaration "There is no climate emergency". This is a game changer in our fight against the Boogeymen-of-Doom. The Democrats and their media cohorts will surely ignore this or discount it as misinformation.... but it will be difficult for them to continue the deception that there is consensus among 'scientists'.

The Climate Change boogeyman is under serious attack and the Democrats are scrambling for damage control.

During the first GOP Debate, Vivek Ramaswamy called climate change a "hoax". His stand on the issue is interesting (and, perhaps, exaggerated) but the reaction of Progressive Socialist media is fascinating.

Time magazine (which was once objective) claims "The signals of climate change have become increasingly present—think of the record-setting extreme heat and near-constant flooding, and leading Republicans can no longer feasibly deny that climate change is happening."

But, please keep in mind, one year ago Time was ranting about extreme drought rather than near-constant flooding. They are dishonest hypocrites.

Slate is even more terrified. They wrote this bit of Democrat propaganda just five days before those 1609 scientists stated there is no global agreement: "Fox News itself has been no slouch in the decades-spanning right-wing mission to downplay the effects of climate change, disputing the near-universal global agreement that human overdependence on fossil fuels is to blame"

Lions and Tigers and Bears... OH MY!

The Globalists want you to be terrified of Scary Scarcity. Global shortages of this, that and whatever continue. Some are due to natural causes but all shall be blamed on Climate Change and evil white capitalism.

Rice
India has restricted exports of non-Basmati rice again this year which has caused massive panic buying in America. But, please keep in mind the panic buying is among Indian and Pakastani customers who are afraid that they will no longer be able to purchase their favorite imported brands.

We at neoTerra consume a lot of rice (I prefer rice over potatoes or pasta). Personally, I prefer Basmati (which, fortunately, is not restricted) and Jasmine (which isn't from India) so this 'panic' does not affect me in the slightest.

Observing this irrational, panic behavior saddens me. I honestly don't understand how intelligent, well-educated people can go insane scrambling over rice (here in America) when there is no actual shortage. I understand that people have a preference for their home-town variety or brand... BUT there are so many excellent alternatives. Storming the gates, like third-world, famine-starved Ethiopians is so disappointing.

There is NO SHORTAGE of rice in America so DON'T PANIC.
