Over the past several weeks they have not only made a mockery of Democracy but they have gone above-and-beyond in their efforts to erase French culture within France. "Vive la bool-sheet"
In The Lattice, I attempted to portray the world of the 2050's when the World Order has repudiated Western Culture and reduced society to a world of intersectional victim-elites riding roughshod over the deplorable working class. Ironically, it is socialism turned upside down ... it is the return of aristocracy and serfdom masquerading as equity and inclusion.
Today, France is leading the way.
The Olympics
Here's the headline from NBC ... "Drag Queens dazzle in display of inclusivity at 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony." How could I possibly improve on that??
The Brave New World of intersectional victim-elites has arrived in France way ahead of schedule.
The Demise of Democracy
We all know that Parliamentary systems are anti-democratic ... a throwback to the age of monarchs and aristocracy. If you don't believe me please consider Canada as an example:
- The Prime Minister (their equivalent of our President) is not elected by the people. He/she/they/them are selected by Parliament.
- The senators are not elected by the people. They are selected by the KING ... for life.
- The size of the senate isn't fixed. The KING can add more to get his way.
- Thus, there are no checks-and-balances. The Prime Minister can do just about anything he wants (as Trudeau has demonstrated).
- Please note, unlike Canada, France does have an elected President ever since the establishment of the Fifth Republic in 1958.
And, in Fascist/Socialist tradition, once the Macron government consolidated power it initiated legal investigations against Marine Le Pen and revoked the broadcast license of a pro Le Pen station on grounds of misinformation. AND the gov gets to decide the definition of misinformation.
Sounds a lot like the Democrat party here in America. You know ... the party that wants to eliminate checks-and-balances by eliminating the Electoral College, packing the Supreme Court and reducing the power of the Senate.
Conclusion
As part of my research for my second novel I've been studying socialist revolutions ... particularly the French Revolution and the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Total SHIT-SHOWS (perhaps a topic for another post).
I believe in American Exceptionalism. The United States Constitution has stood for more than 240 years and there have been 45 orderly transitions of power. We are NOT perfect but we have a record of steady improvement toward our ideal that "all men are created equal" I'm pretty sure this is the best record in all of human history.
The French, by contrast, have endured revolutions, beheading, purges, more beheading, two emperors, the return of the Monarchy, removing the returned Monarchy, and the descent into NAZI fascism under the Vichy French "Constitution".
In my opinion, their 'Constitution' carries no weight ... as it has been tossed out and rewritten (not merely amended) about 16 times ... most recently in 1958 when they established the Fifth Republic under Charles DeGaulle.
Sorry for the tiny print, but this is the timeline of French Constitutions. I can't provide a cool graphic of the American Constitution timeline because it's just a boring, unbroken line that lasts for more than 240 years.
That we continue to support and subsidize the French is simply PATHETIC.
The journey to the Brave New World has already begun. How far should we bow to the Democrat elites??
