The Fall (or Autumnal) Equinox occurred at 9:04 PM Eastern yesterday (Astronomers are SO precise). The Spring (or Vernal) Equinox will occur and March 20th, 2023 and is the official arrival of Spring and rebirth.
On an Equinox day and night are both 12 hours long everywhere on Terra. (click the pic for more)

Those of us in the Northern Hemisphere will now experience a Little Ice Age that we often refer to as Winter. But never fear, next Spring we will return to the heat and maybe even boiling Oceans in a period we quaintly call Summer.
