TED Upgrade
As I mentioned last month, I added a second MTU to the energy monitoring system and the system can now track and record all the energy use.
The July bill came in from Amicalola yesterday and I'm happy to report that the energy monitoring system is in pretty close agreement with the actual consumption recorded by the electric meter. In fact, it looks like the TED system is reporting about 6% too high. I'll see how they compare again next month and re-calibrate the TED system if the results are similar.
July HVAC
At 270 CDD July was about 30% warmer than the historical average. It was also about 28% warmer than June which came in at 211 CDD. We had one day above 90 and the rest of the month was in the mid 80's.
We have also been in a drought since February with rainfall only at about 60% of normal. The side effect is more sunny days than normal. Here's the weather summary for July.
Our total HVAC usage for July came in at 43 kWh or about $5.00.
